Veteran looking to get started in photography

Hello im joe and I was wonding if I could get some help, I'm a disabled veteran (lost my left arm in Afghanistan) and been wanting to get into photography. But being I only get paid from the VA I was wondering in you guys helped with anything like this or know of anyone who does, with cost of some equipment and knowledge. Thank you for your time.

I feel for you mate.  My war was Vietnam...   I wish I could be of material help, but I live in New Zealand, so it's a bit far to ship anything!   Still, I'm sure you will get support from your fellow US citizens.  Once you get some gear, I'd be happy to help in any way I can with education.
