I need help. I am really new to using this camera, and trying to transfer images to my Mac laptop (OS Sonoma 14), using the SanDisk image reader. I've downloaded the EOS Utility 3, which I thought was the software needed to do the transfer, but when I open it on the computer, I don't find any instructions on what to do next. I don't know what I'm missing. Thanks for any guidance I can get on this!

If you are using a card reader, simply use the finder to transfer the images from the DCIM folder to where you want them. Alternately, you can use Image Capture to open the card and put only the images you want, where you want them.
The utility is only when you use WiFi or USB to connect directly to the camera.
