Will a Tamron 70-300 zoom lens work on the T6s?

I can't say affirmatively since I don't have a T6s, but I don't see why not.
I have that lens (ancient and noisy 70-300mm f4-5.6) and it works fine on my 30D, which has the same lens mount and is also an APSC crop sensor.
Its an old and cheap lens (I got mine for $15 because the zoom mechanism doesn't work) but despite is age and slow AF motor, its surprisingly sharp and has good reach. Never had a problem getting a good focus beep in any of the focus modes on the older 30D or XT's at least.
Your mileage may vary. Give it a try.

We are assuming it is a Canon mount? If so, it will fit. Now will it work? That is a different story. Maybe yes, maybe no!
A T6s deserves a better lens, IMHO, of course.
