I would like to know how I can completely remove the AF White box over peoples faces in video mode without having to actually start the recording on the camera.

Hello moeashor,

At this time there is no method to completely remove this from the viewfinder.  If you are using the LCD panel, press the <INFO> button to change what is able to be displayed on the LCD panel.
