Hi,
I do have a T1i that is working fine. A year ago, I used it connected with my computer (Windows 7) and that was fine.
Now it seems that the HDMI port is off. I tried with 2 computers, no one has any signal from the camera. Windows answers me that there is no connection with the device, using Canon's program CameraWindow.
Does someone has an idea if there is something to check / do on the camera to set up the HDMI port?
Thanks in advance
Michel

You would normally connect the camera to the computer using a USB cable -- not HDMI. HDMI is for connecting to an external HDMI monitor.
Make sure your USB cable is a data cable (because there are USB "charging" cables that don't bother to connect the data pins so the computer wouldn't see the camera if it's the wrong type of cable.)
