I've read the T6 (SOLVED?????) thread. last comment was Stephen from Canon Threatening to ban people due to frustrated customers who've spent alot of money for an American Product which seemingly has issues with MOV files.
Is this a Proprietary issue?
I require dialogue before selling my Canon DSLR.
PS. its very annoying to find out these sort of Conflicts as it is very Trivial and almost insulting due to the fact MOV files is such and OLD protocol. Why would you allow video capturing to convert it to something YOUR OWN APP does not (not capable) of downloading.
Get the point. This problem was Created by Canon. If you want to piss people off and not buy American, this is how to do it.....

Hello CanonMaybenot,
I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately, MOV files and 8K movie files shot with EOS cameras cannot be saved using the Canon Camera Connect app to your Android device. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
