Should I upgrade from the T6 to the 80D?

What's up, everybody \m/ Title here is self explanatory, but here are the lenses I currently have in my arsenal: • Canon 18-55mm, 50mm 1.8 , 24mm 2.8 • Opteka 85mm 1.8

I mostly shoot street, and I also typically travel with my camera and shoot just about everything. Now, occasionally I'll shoot portraits or events for friends, or fof, and at the end of the day I really enjoy taking photos. Im considering pursuing this in a more lucrative manner. What are your thoughts on upgrading my current kit? Should I stay or should I go https://mobdro.bio/ ?

xionech,

I would.

There is a web site called Camera Decision.. You can compare two cameras side by side and look at their specs and features.

I personally would not want a camera that heavy though, especially if you were going to carry it around all day.

Is the 80D your only option?

What doesn't the T6 do for you?

I would agree with @kvbarkley's comment.  If you can get the results you want, with what you have don't upgrade until you need to, or to put it another way, until it is holding back your functionality and note the last line of my signature:
I recommend you consider the following questions when looking at an upgrade of camera gear: THIS ARTICLE .

Having done so I would hope you come back to us with answers to those, particularly budget, and what you intend to produce: e.g. for social media, websites and digital display or for large, detailed prints.
