Selling and upgrading my gear

serenal

I have some bodies and lenses that I have accumulated over the years and I'm ready to upgrade to a few nice new pices. I'm looking at the R5 mark 2 (sounds like this one won't overheat). I am looking for advice on where to trade my gear in my bodies and lenses are a bit older. 7D, 5D and 5Dsr with a bunch of lenses from 11-400 to 17-25.

Any advice is appreciated!

You can get quotes on line from MPB and KEH but make sure that you are on the conservative side when noting condition. Both will adjust the quote when they receive the gear if it isn't as noted on your equipment list.

If you have a local camera store, go there.  Most camera store buy used gear in trade.  They will give you the exact price up front.  The nice thing is if you are buying your new camera from the same store, you can negotiate a little bit on the trade in value.  You usually end up with a better deal this way as opposed to the mail in online companies.

I've used MPB.com  and UsedPhotoPro.com to sell and trade gear. You CAN negotiate with both on the value of what you want to send them.
