Registration disappeared for EOS Rebel XTi

I purchased and registered a Digital Rebel Xti and EF-S 18-55mm lens kit many years ago. When I recently went to MyCanon to register a new product I noticed the old camera and lens are no longer listed. I tried adding them again but it doesn't let me add my serial number, saying it is already registered.

I can't find a way to contact Canon directly (no chat or e-mail for support).

I see others experienced similar issues but haven't seen an answer to how to address it yet. I'll keep looking. In the meantime, if you have suggestions for resolution of this issue I would appreciate it.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out!

Both of those cameras have been retired. As a result, all official Canon support has ended, and no new software or drivers will be developed.

To explore Canon's latest technologies, we recommend contacting our Canon Upgrade Program Specialists at 1-866-443-8002, available Monday through Friday.

We hope you have a great day!

Thanks for the quick response.

Even though the product is EOL and now new firmware will be provided, it is good to have documentation in a remote location in case of loss or theft.

The documentation is still on our site. Our knowledgebase has more up-to-date information than the original PDF document.
