Rebel EOS XTI CF light blinks upon power up and not able to use camera at all??

I charged my batteries and upon putting them back in the green light turns on upon switching it to ON however the tiny CF light blinks orange quickly and then I am still not able to take a picture or even view old pictures... anything I can do to get this problem fixed???

Hopefully it is your battery.  It has failed.  You can buy a new one, also make sure the charger is working properly.
