R6 no longer has live view

Cannot get screen to display live view. It's like it just died? I have tried various combinations on Shooting Info Disp. This just suddenly started.  When I first turn on the camera, sometimes it will very briefly flash an image on the LCD screen that does not stay. I'm using RF100mm in manual focus and have been doing some flash photography and waterdrop photography. Also the "Q" is grayed out all of a sudden. I've reset basic settings, pulled the battery and installed replacement and nothing is there. I tried all of the modes on the mode dial and nothing is there. I changed lens to the 24-240 RF and still nothing. I am on version 1.8.2. Please advise if I need to check anything else on the camera or if a firmware update might help.

I made a mistake I was between this forum and another and crossed up forums by accident.

Hello - it seems this R6 is still struggling. I attempted some more manual focus water drop photography today with the RF  100mm lens and the live view works, but I kept getting the error code which would not go away on the screen (and could not exit it) and had to pull battery and put back in as the error code suggested.  I gave it a rest of an hour, and tried taking more auto-focus test shots and it seems ok. Will try again tomorrow.

What is the error please tell us or take a picture of the back of the screen to show us what it is.

Err 70 ... I believe it has to do with flash photography, and since I am no longer doing a flash photography session, I was not able to duplicate it.

What flash unit are you using Canon brand or a 3rd Party Flash unit like Godox or Yongnuo or some other brand.

Canon Speedlite 470EX-A1 flash

That speedlite shouldn’t lock up your camera. When it does what is going on with the flash unit.
