Hi - not an entirely new problem I believe but I haven't found any working solutions yet. I would like to tether an Eos R6 mark ii from a Mac. The camera is recognised and I can make adjustments but the shot is not saved to its destination folders. It just remains empty. If I insert a memory card the images are saved there. I have tried on 2 Macs, one on OS 14.5, the other 15.3.1. Camera firmware is updated to 1.5. The issue is reproducible with both Lightroom Classic (14.1.1 and 14.2) as well as Canon EOS Utility (3.18). I even set up a new admin account on one Mac in case the issue is with corrupted permissions but no luck.
Any Advice?

What do you have set in EOS Utility for the location to save images?
In my case I create a folder inside the computers Pictures folder called EOS Utility, then images are saved in that folder. Secondly if you click on the icon highlighted then you can choose the save location. See the second screen to see the options.

Thanks Brian, same settings as you have shown. A folder in the Pictures folder on the local HD (no external drive) and images saved on card and computer. No luck. Cheers, Dirk

Have you also tried other software for tethered shooting? I have seen a few cases where tethering stopped working correctly with the Canon software after Capture 1 was installed.
