Aloha from Honolulu,
Iʻm not new to Canon -- has shot with an 80D for ages with amazing results -- but I am new to the R5.
I shot about 1000 shots of flying birds today. Remarkable how many are in sharp focus.
And...
And when I get to processing them, some of the shots are so real theyʻre... hyper-real?
The images seem so "perfect" they almost look... well... unreal.
Iʻm shooting at 1/2000 sec to freeze the birds in flight.
New to the camera, Iʻm using settings other R5 bird photographers have recommended on their YT R5 tutorials.
Any thoughts?
Happy to use what Iʻve got, but my perfectionist side would like the images to appear a little more natural.
Mahalo for any thoughts!
Cat
