Often the LCD on my T3i turns purple and then green and white lines appear and move as I change the shutter speed. The pictures come out black. I have had my camera for two years and have always had this problem no matter which lens I am using. I take the battery out for a while and put it back in and I turn it off and on and nothing seems to make it go back to normal - it randomly goes back to normal, seemingly, when it wants to. Any suggestions of fixing it or getting it repaired?

Is it only the picture display that turns purple, or the menus and information displays, too?
In any case, if the images are coming out balck, it looks like either a bad sensor or a bad connection to the sensor. Either way, it will take Canon to fix it and it might not be worth it.
