Overheating Shutting down error message on CanonR100

Hello, 

I bought camera on 7th August 2024 it been less then 15 days and camera gave me overheating shutting down error with canon battery. I tried with 3rd party battery it's working fine. 

Canon need to resolve issue via Update fix or need to give battery replacement

I've never had a battery cause and over heating issue.

What were you doing when the overheating message displayed.  Please be specific. Shooting mode?  Video or still photography?  Etc.

Canon support is available.  If you purchased your camera from Canon or an authorized dealer.  Start by registering your camera.  You can then receive support and assistance.  A support representative is happy to help.  Note:  Canon does not support 3rd party products unless certified.
