No green square for focus (Canon EOS Rebel SL3 / EOS 250D)

Hello,

I bought Canon EOS 250D and have 1 important question:

When I’m in movie mode and half press to auto focus- there’s no green square or even a bip.

How can I change it?

*I’m using manual mode.

*When taking still photos the green square appears…

Does the AF mode change between Liveview shooting and movie?

I didn't understand the question.

When I'm in movie mode it must be in Liveview, isn't it?

Found a solution after digging in the menu:

Go into “set/settings”- “4”- “shutter btn function for movies”:

Change it to- “Meter.+One-Shot AF”
