I just bought the new Canon Rebel T5 1200D and my MacbookPro isn't recognizing the camera in the EOS Utility when I connect it using the USB cable the camera came with. I have the OS X Mavericks 10.9.2. When I go to System Pref>Hardware>USB it is showing up that it's recognized though, under the USB Hi-Speed. What do I need to do to get it to recognize the camera in the EOS Utility so I can see my photos?
