My "feature guide" stopped working. I checked my settings and I DO have it enabled.

When I switch modes, my camera use to go right to the feature guide. Now nothing happens. I have to hit the "Q" button for the display to come up. I have tried everything. Changed batteries, checked settings.... Does anyone know how to fix this?

Canon t4i.

Put the T4i in "P" mode.  Go into the menu and select Clear all settings also there is a Clear all Custom Functions.  Do both.

I found the answer earlier. I had the feature guide turned on, but had the LCD screen to turn off automatically enabled.

Once I disabled it, my camera worked.
