My T5i's audio levels are not even.

My T5i's audio levels are not even. When looking at the meter, one side is registering much louder than the other, even clipping. What can be done about this?

If the manual says nothing about changing the levels, you will have to send it in for repair.

ETA: I just checked the manual - there is no way to set balance so you should call Canon and possibly arrange a repair.
