Hi, so I just got my camera a few months ago, and I have just now gotten to use it because I was waiting to get an affordable lens for the camera. Anyway, I was trying to set it up and test it out, but when I go to take a picture, the shutter button won't work. It presses down enough to show the screen to focus, but it won't take the photo. I tried everything on the camera to try and reset settings to see if it was just an issue from one of my settings or something, but nothing worked. I even connected my camera to my phone and tried to do the remote way to take a photo but it failed. I don't know what to do. I don't know if it's the button that's not working or if it's something else in the camera. Please, if you have any ideas, let me know as soon as possible. I have to use this camera for an upcoming project in like 3 weeks.
Thanks,
J.R. Lynch

Wait! I fixed it on my own. It was a problem with my lens.

Glad to hear that you fixed it on your own, JRLynch! Just in case a reader is running into the same symptoms, please let us know what you did with your lens to solve the issue.
