Hopefully this won't get deleted, but Tech Radar interviewed David Parry of Canon (a product marketing specialist) and asked several questions about the R5. Some interesting stuff. I look forward to the camera's release. The last time I posted some info about the R5, in which a Canon source confirmed specs, our crackerjack mods deleted it almost immediately.

Speaking of mirrorless for the enthusiast and pro, Canon USA has affirmed that on April 20th "Canon has decided to move forward with the introduction of new products and technologies that will continue to bring us the stories of triumph, hope and humanity."
The usual tech and photography sites agree that Canon will almost certainly announce the launch of the EOS R5 at that time, to the delight and expectations of enthusiasts and pros alike. It is expected that the entry level R6 will also be launched at that time.
EDIT: The announcement and conference will take place online, according to the Canon announcement.

They need to fix their announcement page.
It is displaying "NAN", instead of a countdown clock.
NAN means."Not A Number".

It is working on the home page, but click the [LEARN MORE] button, and see what happens.

Hi, Waddizzle! Thanks for pointing this out. We checked the pages with the countdown and they're appearing correctly. Since we crossed into a new month last night, it's possible that might have caused the countdown clock to get a little weird for a moment but it appears to have corrected itself. If you spot this error anywhere else, please include a URL so we can check it out.
Have a great day!
