I have a M50 (not II) was it was working fine last week and for some reason the LCD started flashing weird colors, and the text scroll vertically, and now the LCD screen is dead.

The only thing I did a week ago was update the firmware to 1.1.0.
1) I've reset the camera
2) changed batteries
3) used AC power
4) turn off the VF/LCD auto switching
5) press info/manual and so on.
Did my LCD screen go bad?
Any advice would be apprecaited.

So the LCD screen came back as if nothing happened. I didn't use it for about a week and it appears to be normal, but I've only turned it on test it. I haven't really used it for any prolonged period of time. So that tells me that any physical connection from the camera to LCD appears to be working.
