Looking for advice on a Canon camera

Hi all. My girlfriend loves photography, she had a DSLR camera but had to sell it a few years ago for a little more money. She is by no means professional, but loves to photograph nature, couple photos. I want to buy her a camera for her birthday. My budget is up to $ 1000, I don't know anything about cameras and I wonder what is the best value for money.

Best Buy currently has the Canon EOS Rebel SL3 DSLR camera with 18-55mm lens kit on sale for $ 800. Is this a good deal for this camera? does it work well?

I have the Canon SL1 and love it!

It produces high quality images and offers a good degree of user control (or you can put everything on automatic!)

Does your girl friend have small hands?

If not, maybe one of the other Rebels may be better (?)

Better still... why don't you bring her to Best Buy; tell her you want to check out some cameras for yourself or ____  but use that as an opportuntiy to see what she likes.

You don't have to buy it then --  have her handle the SL3 and see if she likes it.

Focus on the budget ones, handle them, and ask what she thinks...
