Live view on a modern computer with an EOS 5D Mark II?

I have a fully functional EOS 5D Mark II that I want to use with a modern 2023 MacBook computer. Live view is critical for my purposes. Can you advise how this is possible? With Canon Software? With Lightroom Classic? Thank you

It should work with Canon's EOS Utility.

Demetrius is correct.

I just tested my 5D Mark II and Canon Utility 2. It works fine for tethered Live View shooting.

However, I'm using a Windows PC. I don't know what's available from Canon for Macs. You'll have to research in the Support area for yourself.

EOS Utility IS available for Mac users. My old 40D works with EOS Utility. But AF is unavailable due to its age. This camera doesn't support on image sensor AF. The dedicated viewfinder AF system performs AF by dropping the mirror. Also lenses that have an electronic focus ring. Have Manual Focus Override at all times. Even when the AF-On button is not pressed. A half press of the shutter button won't work.
