Hello
I have a Canon 90D camera and it has been fine since i bought it a few years ago.
Now for some reason after taking a few shots , it will not focus and will not switch off , i have to take the battery out to switch it off .
When i put the battery back in it is fine for a few more shots then the same thing happens again ,i have tried this with a fully charged geuine canon battery and an empty SD card .
Any help would be appreciated
Thank You

I have seen bad lenses do this to cameras. Such as draining the battery preventing the camera from turning on.

What happens if you use a different lens does the camera still give you problems.

Just because something is new doesn’t mean that it’s functioning correctly. Did your problems start when you got this new lens. Was the lens purchased new or was it purchased used but new to you.
