Is there a 7D mark ii coming soon?

Looking to maybe upgrade from 60D.  I shoot a lot of indoor sports.  Frame rate is great. The 7D at 8fps is good but, would like the new sensor technology with the improved ISO.

No one knows, the rumors have gone cold.  I would guess an announcement late 2013 or early 2014 but that is strictly a guess.

Thanks.  Rumors is all I have seen.  I haven't persued it much until lately and didn't know it there was anything more substantial out there.

I think the consumers and Canon have very different interpretations of the idea of "Soon"

Yes, the present 7D has been a great move up from th 60D but, it would be awesome to have the new sensor with the supposed improvement in ISO performance.
