Hi, I currently have a Canon 600D (T3i) and I'm looking for an upgrade, without spending much (<100€). I've searched on the used market and found a local shop where I could sell my 600D and get a 7D mk i adding about 70€. Now, my question is, do you think it's worth the upgrade? Will the 7D perform better than my 600D? And if not, are there some other alternatives in that price range (200-300)?

Greetings ,
The performance differences between the two cameras is really marginal. The 7D has a few enhancements over the 600D but they are not significant.
To 600d is actually a more desirable body. I'd spend a little more money and go for a more meaningful upgrade.

"Perform better" is a term that can mean a million things. Only YOU can determine what you mean by it.
The article linked-to tells you the objective differences. You decide what matters.
The 7D is a pro-level APS-C body, so it has features accordingly....weathersealing being one.
It has the top LCD display that Rebels mostly lack.
It has a much faster continuous-shooting speed.
It has a pentaPRISM finder as opposed to the Rebel's pentaMIRROR. This gives a brighter viewfinder.
It is larger than your Rebel, which is nice if you have big hands like I do.
One possible negative is the 7D uses CF memory cards, not SD cards. Not a performance drawback, more an availability thing and you have to exercise real care in removing and inserting the card so as not to damage pins.
I have a 7D and five other Canon DSLRs and I prize **bleep** over all the others.
I think it is worth the 70 Euro upgrade cost. What warranty does the local shop provide?
