I am using a T3i to shoot sketch videos in my apartment. Some areas are not very well lit so the video comes out a bit darker is there anyway to increase the brightness without doing it in post or bringing in a lighting rig? The camera is new and I'm not very experienced with it yet so feel free to treat me like a simpleton.

Hi Schabl!
Thank you for posting.
You can try setting positive exposure compensation to increase the exposure by pressing the AV +/- button then turning the dial to the right.
