ISO camera suggestion

I’m done upgrading my iPhone every time the picture quality gets crummy. I’ve owned a Samsung NX200 for 10+ years but struggle to use it or find time to learn how. ISO a camera with the best image quality but simplicity!

Do you have a budget or specific needs for a camera. Do you any accessories that you want to use on your new camera. What do you mainly take pictures of. What is the ambient lighting like is it low light. Cameras struggle in low light especially the AF system and then high ISO noise performance.

No budget. Pictures of my family (Mom of three under the age of five) and our adventures. I have a phone solely for taking photos at this point, thousands.

We need a budget amount before we can suggest a camera to you. Saying things like "No Budget" "Break the bank" "As high as the sky" is not a $$ amount. Why suggest a $6000 camera when your budget is $1000 so a budget is needed before we can suggest any camera to you.

You’re right, I apologize. $1500 to start. If additional lenses or accessories are needed then I can go from there.

Your old Samsung is what's called an APS-C camera (24x16). The image sensor (is 1.5x) (with Canon its 1.6x) smaller than 35mm Film or a Full Frame Digital Image sensor (36x24). Would you like to stay with the APS-C format or move to Full Frame. Full Frame cameras are better in low light shooting. You'll be able to push the ISO up higher if needed. But Full Frame cameras lack a built in flash. So does Canon's top of the line APS-C mirrorless camera. Most higher end cameras lack a built in flash. Instead an external flash is needed for flash photography.

Full frame. Would there be an option to purchase the flash as an accessory?

Yes Canon makes compatible flashes for their cameras. Canon is in the middle of a hot shoe interface change currently. Are you looking for a kit (camera + lens) if so Canon offers multiple different options when it comes to kit lenses. Canon's series are geared to pros but have additional features such as weather sealing, faster AF motors and faster constant apertures. Instead of slower variable apertures which could become a problem in low light when trying to focus. The camera relies on contrast to focus not how bright something is. Canon's cheapest Full Frame option starts at $1500 and goes up from there to more advanced cameras.

In what way so you struggle with your current Samsung camera with.
