I have the 77D . and my sister was trying to use the timer and accidentally pressed something. Put my camera only on video mode and I cannot switch it to back to the original setting... It is stuck in video mode. It won't let me switch to take pictures... it's on for the pictures not in the video setting but it is only taking videos not pictures something about MP4 or servo AF that is on. And I already try THIS.. to put it on M Press menu went to clear settings for clear all custom functions and clear all custom setting and still nothing why can I do? someone help me. please.....

I suspect there is more to the story than you are explaining but at any rate call Canon 1-800-652-2666. [phone number corrected]

The 77D has the video mode switch combined with the main power switch.
Make sure the switch is not in video mode. If the switch is in the "ON" position, but the camera is still stuck in "Video" mode, your camera will need servicing.
