I am having trouble setting up the Wi-Fi on my 6D

I have re-created a nickname but then when I try to enter the hex code I get stuck, it tells me it is the wrong code and it seem I should be getting this from my computer (Windows 10) but nothing comes up what am I doing wrong?

since posting this question I have got it going, used the wps button on the router and it connected
