i bought the canon r10 and a feelworld monitor with a headphone jack expecting to be able to monitor audio through the monitor since the r10 doesn't have a headphone jack and apparently i cant. All i hear is a low humming noise and no audio, not even when playing back a video! couldnt this be fixed with a simple software update??
Assuming you have audio recording enabled in the camera, you have to be recording in the camera for audio to be output over the HDMI cable, according to the camera's manual.
