Hello. I wanted to switch from Sony to Canon but learned the unfortunate fact that many Canon cameras still utilize decades old front lit sensors such as Canon R6 and even just released Mark II which makes me hesitate buying these cameras.
However maybe Canon did something to compensate for CMOS micro wiring blocking light to pixels by utilizing for example pixel microlenses? How does Canon R6 sensor sensitivity compare to BSI-CMOS using Canon R3, R1 or Sony full frame cameras?
Would be great to see microscope or diagram images of individual Canon R6 pixels. Also maybe someone can do extreme low light video testing from low to maximum ISO with this camera?
