I tried to update my 70d firmware . But it got stacked at loading… I took off the battery and inserted it back . It automatically turn on . And shows firmware update program ‘’Update file cannot be found. Please check the memory card and reload the battery and try again’’ I have tried different sd cards . If i insert sd card with the firmware on it. It shows loading then the screen go off.no display and non of the buttons work until I take off the battery. Please help me resolve this
I am afraid that is your answer, You need to send it to Canon service and have them correct the FW install. I really doubt you can do it yourself. In the future always read what the new FW does, fixes or corrects.. Sometimes it isn't anything that affects you or the way you use your camera. In that case the FW update is not needed as it won't make any difference to you.
