I suggest that you go online and look for any astrophotography groups in your area.

You need a T-mount and a T-mount to EOS adapter to start.

Make sure that the T-Ring has the correct thread to mate to your telescope. Not sure about your scope but mine has a removable 1.25" eyepiece barrel that the T-Ring threads in it's place.

I've found a lot of usefull info on youtube as well.

Nebula Photos and Astro Backyard both have DSLR tips on settings and exposure times for guided and unguided photography.
