EOS Utility for Canon 70D won't open with Mac OS X El Captain.

Thanks, but it says there's no driver available for my opertating system. I guess Canon hasn't kept up with Mac's latest operating sysem yet.

If you are trying to connect via USB then make sure you disable WiFi.

 

The camera's use of WiFi & USB are mutually exclusively (they can't both be on at the same time... to use USB, you must disable the WiFi.)

It's not the wifi it's my operating system. I'm on the latest version of Mac and Canon doesn't support it yet.

EOS Utility 2 works fine on El Capitan with my 1D Mark IV and my wife's Rebel T4i.
