This had been working previously so I could connect camera and directly download photos. Don't know when software versions resulted in the broken connection between camera and EOS utility.
Camera firmware is last available for this model (1.0.3).
The Mac OS does recognize the Canon camera on the USB connection. But the EOS utility is blind to it.
The EOS utility does still work for grabbing pictures from a monitor folder that I have put on my desk top. So I can use a CF card reader to pull over photos. But did enjoy the convenience of having utiliyt pull them directly from my camera.
