EOS Rebel T8i manual mode not working

Adolfo832

I have a canon t8i dslr, it had been working perfectly fine and no problems. I turned it off after using and the next day I went to try and get the photos and I couldn’t access the menu, switch view finder or go to photos in manual mode and other adjustable modes. When I go to auto or special scene mode I’m able to do all the actions on the camera. I quadruple checked that my multi function lock was off therefore there should be no reason for it to not work. If you guys have any feedback or suggestions please reach out.

How do you normally pull pictures off your camera. I recommend using a USB SD Card reader instead of going through the camera. In what way is the camera not functioning correctly please explain clearly.

I was trying to look at the photos on my camera and it wouldn’t let me.

It should if you press the playback button. What kind of memory card are you using. Full Sized or Micro SD Card in an adapter. If an adapted card I would discontinue the use of that card. Get a Full Sized SD Card.

No matter what kind of sd card I put it still can’t access the menu, photos or different view finder

Can you see the pictures on your computer. What size memory card are you using.
