EOS Rebel XT How to update firmware

I have a digital rebel xt and its firmware is 1.0.1. How do I improve/update/ install new firmware on the camera?

You should be able to download with no problem. It is not a firmware issue. Start a new topic and tell us your computer and os

Indeed. For 400D/XTi it seems like 1.1.0 is the important update. Well, send me a message.

A firmware update on a camera this old will not add any new functionality. The EOS Rebel XT is not compatible with modern operating systems. To transfer any images taken, you must remove the CF card and place it into an external card reader, and connect the reader to your computer.
