My poor camera the EOS Rebelt T 5 has finally quit working BUT
my question is .If I order a Body of a Rebel T 7 would the lenses from my T 5 be compatible ??
I thought it was maybe just the battery on my T 5 but after ordering new ones it still isn't working and it is time for me to upgrade anyways
Thanks

Yes, your lenses for the T5 will work fine on the T7

"I’ve decided to buy a EOS Rebel T 7 package"
DON'T DO IT. I suspect this is a package from a place like Amazon? DON'T DO IT.
Or really up your game with this one

Did you notice if you go for the Rebel T7i you get the latest 18-55mm lens for $50 bucks.
Or you can get just the T7i and use your old lenses

Hd 500 mm telephoto lens does not mean anything to me. So, I doubt that it is much good. If it costs less than $500, I know it is not any good!

I HAVE THE 300 AND MACRO LENS AND THE WIDE ANGLE ALONG WITH THE 18-55 MM LENSES
BUT I NEED A NEW CAMERA BECAUSE MY T 5 DIED
oops sorry cap lock on
but I can't afford a bunch and I take thousands of pictures a year and many I sell
isn't the EOS Rebel T 7 a pretty ggod camera ?????

The T7 is a very good camera but if you can squeeze a little more out of your budget the T7i is a better one.

It's great, ebiggs was saying don't buy a "bundle" with the T7 and a lot of useless junk.

Has anyone ever used Hd 500 MM telephoto lens
Any info would be great
I did a Google search of "Hd 500 MM telephoto lens" and came up with a cheap 500mm f/8.0 "Preset" Telephoto lens.
Does this lens look like the one in your kit?
This lens is manufactured by Samyang in Korea and is sold under MANY different names. (Vivitar, Bower, Rokinon, Phoenix, Opteka, Ultimax, Decophoto, etc) They retail for about $99 USD.
I have used a lens like this and it is VERY difficult to get good results. You need to have bright conditions, High ISO, fast shutter speeds, and a VERY stable tripod.
Here is a thread on another forum that talks about this lens: $10.00 500mm Shoots the Moon
