EOS Rebel SL3 How to turn on the grid feature

This is driving me nuts! I found a video in a different language years ago, but now I cannot find it. How do you turn the grid feature on the SL3? Thanks!

The manual is your friend. I searched for "grid"

Since it is not starred, it should be available in every mode. But if you don't see it, switch to P.

I do not have a single setting that has 7 choices. I have read the paper manual at least 3 times and there is nothing about a grid.

To see all the options you need to be in P mode. The grid is set with function 4 menu. You may need to be in live view since it does not apply otherwise.
