I suggest looking in the Advanced User Guide, P83 for a full explanation of how use the INFO button to get Live View.
If you want to get the most from your camera, it is highly advisable to actually go through the AUG, it will give you access to many features you may not even realize you have. If you don't have it, here is the link:
