EOS R6 Firmware page not responding

DGTunes

I'm having trouble downloading the firmware update 1.6.0 [MacOS] for my EOS R6. I've tried multiple computers and browsers and each time, it times out and says that "the server where this page is located isn't responding." I reached out to support via email and they told me to try the Canon Canada support page. I received the same result. Any advice?

I'm using MacOS Monterey version 12.6 trying to download Firmware version 1.6.0 [MacOS]

There are tools online to check SHA256 File Checksum to make sure that the file you downloaded is the real thing, or that nothing was corrupted during download. I have written the hashes below from the different files.

  • sha256 checksum is 9a37c5dcb418351e102fb18ec174e408a68da3a3c7dd4798adf716f3ac5559e2 eosr6-v160-mac.dmg

  • For Windows, 7b38f8e88ddd44a3656d49a06d2fb19e593c22b4658200d5e6f80d4da1d8e8de eosr6-v160-win.zip
  • And the firmware file itself 8b46217c3450ab775f77bee78ad0798f5745383bdd15966c49439d5b35c3d765 EOSR6160.FIR
