I have a new R5 Mark ii. I am assigning a button for eye detection. Should this toggle it off and on? Is there an indicator in the viewfinder indicating if it is off or on?

Greetings,
Based on my understanding of the feature, there is no icon for eye tracking in the information display that shows if its turned off/on
Canon : Product Manual : EOS R5 Mark II : Information Display (start.canon)
You would know it was on if the eye detect box locks on a subject's eye, and off it if didn't lock on a subject's eye.
I also looked at the LCD, but the metering mode doesn't appear to show eye tracking either.
