Interesting idea. And then you could add a viewfinder and you'd have an SL1.

No mirror movement when used in live view, like the EOS M. But this isn't the Rebel forum so I'll desist.
There's mirror noise and there's mirror noise. I had a 1D Mark III and deer could hear it 100 yeards away. The 7D is much, much quieter.
