EOS 70D freezes and does not power on.

Hi,

I have a camera Cannon EOS 70D

I am having a problem that, When i click a photo few times. It suddenly freezes and no buttons work. But the data is still shown in the top info screen. And when I reinstall the battery. It still doesn't power on. I have to wait like 1 hour to get the camera working again. And the issue still persists.

Please help me with the solution.

Are you using an original Canon battery? Or some other manufacturer? Do you have a second battery you can try?

Also, from your description, it sounds like if the camera is left alone for an hour, it will then power-on again but then stop working soon thereafter?   That could be where its electronics are failing.   Beyond checking if things work with a different battery, you probably need to call Canon to arrange for a service/repair.
