EOS 700D Recording video for a short time

I have EOS 700D but it is Recording videos for a very short time. I need to record for a blog and I need to use this. Please help with wath i must do.

What is "a short time"?

Do you get any warnings from the camera?

Are you in video snapshot mode?

You do know that the Rebel T5i is a stills camera that does video?  It is not a video camera.  It has certain limitations on the video side. But we need way more info to help figure this out.  It may be possible or not!
