EOS 60Da from Retinal CR-2 - major issues with EF/EF-S

Upon power-up and menus seem all okay, but putting on a EF or EF-S lens and attempting to shoot in any mode including video refuses and I am left with the "BuSY" message.
Then while using an old Nikkor lens and adapter the camera will take photos okay but when I try to record video, that other photo shows what happens.. the camera shows a triple image and odd colors and artifacts.

Camera is an EOS 60Da, but on eBay suggested it came out of a Medical Equipment product, the Canon CR-2 Retinal Camera Unit.

I would return this this camera. There are too many problems and no matter what lenses you used work. Also DO NOT buy camera gear from eBay.
