How do I find my shutter count it not on eos utilities. Many thanks webby

The most reliable method of getting the shutter count is to take it to a Canon service facility and they will give you a document with that information. There are some apps out there but some are inaccurate. Others may know of something that works.

SPT has for Windows XP, but it costs more than your 5D.
Someone at Magic Lantern found the shutter count, but never published how.
