Hi i have noticed that my laptop doesent detect my camera with the external Power supply (bought on Amazon), but only if i plug in the battery.
I really Need to use external Power because the camera Is attached into the telescope for 3-4 h.
Whats could be the problema?

Are you also connected to the USB port on the camera?
Sounds like there is an issue with your power adapter. If communication has stopped, then that is usually a red flag for ground loop associated with the power adapter not being properly grounded internally.
I recommend that you use the Canon power adapter, which is known to work properly.
